Located in Breslau Ontario, master canoe builder James Gjesing creates beautiful works of art. These cedar strip canoes and kayaks are not only breathtaking but surprisingly light weight and very strong. Every canoe that James builds starts with a vision and he builds each one as if it were being build for himself or his family. This insuring that his customers are satisfied beyond there highest expectations.
We started this company with the idea that we wanted a great family canoe. A safe, easy paddling and beautiful to look at. After much research and many hours of labour our first canoe was built. We have taken this experience and turned it into a family run business that produces a quality craft that you will enjoy for many years.
Every canoe or kayak that we build is being built with the attention to detail and quality as if we were building these boats for ourselves. With this in mind you can rest assure that you will not be disappointed in any way with choosing one of our models.
